INDEPENDENT FILM ON THE AIR!
Danny Boy by Colin Bannon

Colin Bannon's - Danny Boy

Filmmaker Bio
Born in Glens Falls, Colin Bannon has been interested in the filmmaking process since he was very young. “I grew up without TV so I watched movies all the time.” He and his friends used to make movies for fun with a bulky, beaten up VHS camera and the same six hour tape. “When I was younger my friends and I used to make a movie every weekend. It really never got tiring to us.” As he grew up, he became more and more interested in telling stories. He started to write screenplays and his family invested in editing equipment. “I have made many films, most of which I’ve lost or taped over.” But his last four films have been made on a semi-professional level, Boys War, when he was 14, The Grill, when he was 15, and most recently, The Summer Off, which was completed in the winter of 2002. He is working on a feature film called Incandescent Dreams which he hopes will begin filming in late summer 2003.
