INDEPENDENT FILM ON THE AIR!
About the Event
WAMC Northeast Public Radio and Upstate Independents (UI) present a diverse selection of short films by Capital Region film and video artists. The screening will be held in the Linda Norris Auditorium at the WAMC Performing Arts Studio on June 26th at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00. A panel discussion with some of the film artists will follow the screening, giving the audience a chance to hear filmmakers, producers and editors talk about their work. A question and answer session will follow the discussion. It will also be taped for radio broadcast on WAMC's daily program, The Round Table. The panel will be moderated by Alexandra Kalmanofsky, the Artistic Film Director at Images Cinema, a non-profit art house in Williamstown, MA. This event was made possible through the generous support of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).
