Woodstock Film Festival
INDEPENDENT FILM ON THE AIR!
About the Event
Following up on their successful evening with award-winning cinematographer Haskell Wexler and Pamela Yates, the Woodstock Film Festival and WAMC/Northeast Public Radio's Independent Film On The Air project will present Alternative Explorations for Films That Matter on Saturday, April 17 at 7:00 PM at WAMC's Linda Norris Auditorium.

In keeping with the theme of issues-oriented filmmaking that has characterized the WFF/WAMC collaboration, this program will address how different social issues can be explored on film through a variety of approaches including animation, music videos, drama, humor, and both narrative and non-narrative filmmaking.

The event will include screenings of short films, and a panel discussion, moderated by Lisa Phillips. Filmmakers joining the panel for the evening will be Dominic Inzana, Cruz Angeles, Patrick Downs, Glenn Clements, Martina Radwan and Amos Poe.

Tickets are available by calling the WAMC Performing Arts Studio at 518-465-5233 ext. 4

This event was made possible through the generous support of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the City of ALbany.
