About the film
Set against the backdrop of a nursing home beauty shop, More Than Skin Deep explores the connection between self-esteem and aging. The 30-minute documentary tells the stories of six residents of the Jewish Home for the Elderly, and presents their insight into life, death, and looking good. More Than Skin Deep is about aging with dignity, the most any of us can hope for as we inevitably advance in years. [25 min.]
