It's time again for the Zombie Film Feast and in this our fourth year of unbridled undead carnage we bring you even more. As always we kick of the Feast with our Friday night Gala with food, film and Dead Divas yes famous stars of stage and screen will rise from the dead seeking your brains and applause and if that’s not enough the evening will kick off with what we believe to be the first ever choral presentation of the gay undead as the Capitol Pride Singers proudly present a selection of your favorite undead songs. We have a line up of great films again this year including regional premiers, some old favorites and a special selection of Zombie shorts for you to sample. We have reanimated the Zombie game slayer vault and it’s the place to get your undead game on. With so many Zombie expansion packs being released this year and the just released Dead Island there’s no end to the damage you can do. Dust off our formal wear for another Zombie prom which, due to a cacophony of requests from the younger zombies among you, is now 18 years of age and up. Of course as always we Zombie must walk and walk we shall. This year we will start and end at The Linda making a big Zombie loop which is just as well because last year all of Zombies who had lost arms and legs kept walking in circles anyway. We honor tradition and look to crown a new brain eater… by eating brains so once again our walk is followed by the 4th annual brain eating contest (nothing like a good shambling undead stroll to wet the appetite).

But wait you say you want more well we got it hold on to your rotting appendages because we have done it this time It is our pleasure to bring you the first ever upstate NY Zombie Carnival all day Saturday before the walk. Featuring zombie games of chance and zombie vendors with the latest in undead fashion and makeup. Try your luck at the Zombie body part toss, place your bets on the Zombie wheel of death, and cast a line in the Zombie duck pond where every ones a winner. Yes it’s a carnival as only the undead could conjure with, food, prizes, music and more.

So get your full feast passes now as you won’t want to miss this year’s Zombie Film Feast Four!

The Capital Pride Singers was formed in January 1995 by a group of people who responded to a call in The Community newsletter. CPS was organized as a program of the Capital District Gay and Lesbian Community Council. From that small group of 19, CPS has grown to over 50 members. It is one of only a few mixed (male and female) gay choruses in the country. Recently, CPS has become its own not-for-profit organization.

Dead Divas - one night every year around Halloween those famous female singers and celebrities who have gone on to the big stage in the sky rise from the dead to perform to a live audience once again. Patsy Cline, Mae West, Judy Garland, Anna Nicole Smith, Ethel Merman, Janis Joplin, Mama Cass, and many more have been know to make their way from the grave to the stage craving not just your brains but your hearts and applause as well. Carmie Hope and Frieda Munchon proudly present some of the Albany areas premier drag queens doing the dead as only they can.
